“Travel Journal” Draft 1 (Audio/Video Storytelling, Brown University)

Above is a rough first cut of my first video project for Audio/Video Storytelling this spring semester at Brown! This draft was filmed over two sessions and edited over the span of two days, but the final draft will fill in more of the empty clips and spend some time refining the script and the visual elements. Overall, a really valuable experience I learned a lot from, even if I had to change the concept halfway through. I'm excited to keep working on this and hope you'll stay tuned for the final!

When composing my works, I plan out my film shots in a shot list as pictured above — but as a visual artist, I also storyboard these ideas if there’s a specific composition/effect I’m looking to achieve to ensure a more streamlined process.
